Our mission is to produce high quality sustainable foods for a healthier lifestyle and an improved environment. Our products are chemical fee and we use environmentally sustainable growing methods.
Growing Practices:
We use no herbicides, pesticides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers. Our products are naturally grown with organic fertilizer. We grow sweet corn, peas, dry edible beans yellow and green beans, several varieties of tomatoes (including grape tomatoes), sweet and hot peppers, asparagus, garlic, onions, broccoli, rhubarb, cabbage, beets, many varieties of lettuce, cabbage, cucumbers, kale, radishes, watermelon, cantaloupe, summer and winter squash, potatoes, popcorn and herbs. We also grow pie pumpkins, jack-o-lantern pumpkins, mini pumpkins and gourds for decorating. We sell corn shucks, broom corn, Indian corn and colored corn for decorating. We also sell a variety of cut flowers from spring to fall. While certified organic allows certain chemical products, we do not use those. We compost and recycle everything possible, even seeking leaves from others to use on our fields.
CSA SHARES:
Family Share - 19 weeks $515 ($ 27.10 per week)
Enough to feed a family of 4 moderate vegetable eaters or 2 adults who eat a lot of vegetables
Regular Share - 19 weeks $320 ($ 16.85 per week)
Enough to feed 1-2 people – could be used to supplement a home garden
If you’d like to follow what we are doing and know what we have available each week, send us an email at [email protected] and we will put you on our email list.
If you have questions, give us a call at 989-413-2175. If no answer, please leave a message and we will return your call ASAP.
